Port Fòrum, Barcelona's new private yacht harbour is scheduled to open in the first half of 2005. The harbour is situated on the north side of the town of Barcelona in the area of Sant Adrià del Besos, and is managed by Port Fòrum Sant Adrià, S.L.

Equipped with the latest technology and state of the art design, the harbour offers various unique facilities new to the Mediterranean. Port Fòrum has contracted Bellingham Marine, worldwide leader in marina construction, who in their portfolio have claim to the America's Cup Village in Auckland, NZ and the Bahia Mar Yachting Marina in Ft. Lauderdale. This is to be Bellingham's first project in the Mediterranean.

The harbour has a spectacular Marina that can accommodate 170 vessels in an interior basin, with berths ranging in size from 10 to 25 meters, and an exterior basin for 30 yachts up to 80 meters.

Port Fòrum will also have a dry stack storage facility, a travel lift of 120 tons and magnificent installations which allow the professionals there to offer unbeatable maintenance and repair services.

All of the above adds to the extensive and up market shopping centre which Port Fòrum has to offer; it ranges from gourmet restaurants, high-class clothes shops and sporting goods to specialized food shops and their leisure facilities. The capacity to harbour large yachts alongside with their own pontoon and the wide variety of services that are available, among others, three phase power up to 600 amps and pneumatic garbage disposal, position Port Fòrum as one of the most modern marinas in the Mediterranean.
