BCR Yachts are proud to sponsor a 1963 TVR Grantura Lightweight in the Le Mans Classic 24 Hour Race…again. This is the second time the event is being held on the full circuit, which for the most part, is on public roads. The TVR is owned by Phil Hooper of Penguin Marine (France) and will be driven by himself and Malcolm Wood. These two participated in the inaugural race in 2002 and was a great success, despite not bringing home any hardware. The event this year is July 22-25 with the race starting on Saturday 24 at 1600. There are cars dating as far back as 1923, divided into categories based on the year it was built. Each car has, in the past, taken part in the Le Mans 24 Hour Race. This is a fantastic event for car lovers and non-car lovers alike.
